Boyds native Kayla DiCello started her 2024 season by winning the all-around title at the USA Gymnastics Winter Cup in Louisville on Saturday. DiCello posted a winning score of 56.850 well ahead of Skye Blakely and Hezly Rivera.

DiCello, a sophomore at the University of Florida, graduated from Northwest High School and has been with the U.S. Gymnastics national team since 2018. She is a two-time world medalist and 2023 Pan American all-around champion.
DiCello, 20, was an alternate on the 2020 U.S. Olympic team and is hoping to make the 2024 team for the Paris Olympics.
